DCG subscribes to its LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Sustainable Building Rating Systems and have LEED APs on our staff. The market place of the design and construction of high performance buildings is dynamic and evolving.

DCG is also a member and fully support NAIOP Northern Virginia's working d efinition of green development:

"Structures and their associated landscapes that are located, designed, constructed, operated, and dismantled in an environmentally responsible manner to minimize short and long-term negative impacts on the environment and building occupants."

would use Product Standards for GreenSpec (NAIOP) by using;

  • Products made with salvaged, recycled, or agricultural waste content
  • Products that conserve Natural Resources
  • Products That Avoid Toxic or Other Emissions
  • Products That Save Energy or Water
  • Products That Contribute to a Safe, Healthy Built Environment
