The pre-engineered metal building has a veneer of brick-look stucco. This project was completed in 2009. The church members were highly involved in this project through their Ministry of Construction. Through the efficient Koretech panels (which provide higher R-value than standard insulation) and the upgraded mechanical system, the Church should have significantly lower-than-normal operating/life-cycle costs. >>More |

Mt. Zion Baptist, Fredericksburg, VAAddition to existing church, including new sanctuary, classrooms, offices, and restrooms. New parking area is pervious paving to comply with environmental quality recommendations. New sanctuary has vaulted ceiling, baptistry, and sound room. Project also includes new entrance courtyard. The church was able to keep costs down by working with the volunteer missionary group Men on a Mission to provide the labor for the framing carpentry on the project. DCG worked with the volunteer carpenters to ensure accurate interpretations of the plans and quality work.
