DCG Recognized for Excellence in Construction

The Metropolitan Washington and Virginia Chapters of Associated Builders and Contractors awarded Dominion Construction Group for the Airlie Pavilion renovation.

September 12, 2013 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, Dominion Construction Group was presented with an award for Excellence in Construction for the renovation of the Airlie Center Pavilion in Fauquier County, Virginia.  The Pavilion design was created by architect James Hricko of Warrenton, VA.  The renovation enclosed the building for year round use and included installation of geothermal and surrounding landscaping.

“We appreciate Airlie’s commitment to using local professionals,” said DCG President Phil Clark, “this project was ambitious and worthy of the dedicated attention only a community member could provide. We were honored to be part of the team.”

The Pavilion is the first facility in Fauquier to receive LEED Gold status.
