Construction has officially started on the South County Church Renovation at the chapel within the former Lorton Prison campus in Lorton, VA.
After a competitive bid and value engineering process, DCG was selected as General Contractor to transform the chapel into a modern worship and community space.
The project includes interior renovations to create classrooms, offices, nursery and youth spaces, a fellowship hall, warming kitchen, coffee area, and reception space, along with a new elevator, ADA accessibility improvements, updated lighting and AV, new bathrooms, and upgraded MEP systems.
